Barry from Zoolab came to visit everyone at nursery with his collection of animals! He showed us Deirdre the Giant African Land Snail, Carla the cockroach, Tracy the tarantula, Michelle the millipede, Gail the leopard gecko, and Sophie the corn snake! We all got a chance to look at, touch and hold the animals if we wanted to. It was a good chance to learn about lots of different and unusual creatures! Barry talked to us about all of his animals and we learned what they liked to eat, where they lived, how many legs or bones they had and lots more! What a brilliant day!
